MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia College golf workforce is ready to start its 2025 spring season on Monday, Feb. 3 and Tuesday, Feb. 4 on the Battle at Briar’s Creek in Johns Island, South Carolina.
Fourteen groups are scheduled to compete, together with the host School of Charleston. Becoming a member of WVU and School of Charleston might be Wake Forest, NC State, Excessive Level, Maryland, VCU, UAB, East Tennessee State, Clemson, Augusta, Chattanooga, Elon and Campbell.
“It has been greater than three months since our final event, so I am excited to see how our guys carry out in our spring season opener,” coach Sean Covich stated. “We had a really disappointing fall season, however I believe our guys used that disappointment as a wakeup name and motivation to make some adjustments and get higher over the winter break.”
The Mountaineers will tee off Monday morning at 8:45 a.m. ET at The Golf Membership at Briar’s Creek. Golfers will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday on the par 72, 7,175-yard course.
Seniors Todd Duncan, Max Inexperienced and Pierce Grieve together with juniors Carson Kammann and Kaleb Wilson will characterize the Mountaineers on the occasion. The highest 4 scorers will depend in the direction of West Virginia’s general workforce rating.
