MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia College baseball workforce was picked fourth within the 2025 Massive 12 Baseball Preseason Ballot as voted on by the league’s head coaches. Coaches weren’t permitted to vote for their very own workforce.
It’s the highest predicted end for WVU since becoming a member of the Massive 12 in 2013.
Junior catcher Logan Sauve represented the Mountaineers on the All-Massive 12 Preseason Staff. In 2024, Sauve hit .308 with eight house runs, 37 RBI, and 42 runs scored. Behind the plate, he threw out 9 base stealers and had a .992 fielding share.
The Mountaineers are coming off a historic 2024 marketing campaign by which they completed 36-24 and reached the NCAA Tremendous Regionals for the primary time. First 12 months head coach Steve Sabins appears to be like to guide WVU to a regional look for the third straight season.
