MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Senior guard JJ Quinerly of the West Virginia girls’s basketball workforce has been named the WVU Pupil-Athlete of the Week, offered by College Flats.
 
The Norfolk, Virginia native averaged 25 factors, 4 assists and 4 steals throughout two contests. Her play led the Mountaineers to an 80-58 win over UCF and a 66-53 win over BYU.
 
Quinerly scored a season-high 31 factors in opposition to UCF, setting a program file with 17 factors within the opening quarter of the competition. She closed out the week with 19 factors in opposition to BYU.
 
Quinerly has now scored in double figures 80 instances in her profession. She is eleventh in all-time factors scored and sixth in steals in program historical past.
