MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Six Mountaineers are ranked for the West Virginia College wrestling crew within the FloWrestling Division I Wrestling rankings and the crew is ranked within the newest version of the Nationwide Wrestling Coaches Affiliation Division I Wrestling Coaches Ballot.
Peyton Corridor (165) and Ty Watters (149) cleared the path for West Virginia as each are ranked No. 3 of their respective weight lessons. Jordan Titus (141) is ranked No. 18, Brody Conley (174) is ranked No. 29, Dennis Robin (184) is No. 26 and Austin Cooley (197) is No. 31.
That is the second consecutive week that Corridor is ranked No. 3. Watters has remained third in each version of the rankings this season.
The crew checked in at No. 22 within the NWCA Division I Wrestling Coaches Ballot.
West Virginia is in motion on the Knockout Christmas Basic in Kissimmee, Florida, on Saturday, Dec. 21. West Virginia will battle North Dakota State, Wisconsin and Campbell.
