MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia College girls’s tennis crew misplaced to Michigan State, 6-1, on Sunday on the MSU Tennis Middle in East Lansing, Michigan.
West Virginia’s (2-2) struggles continued towards the Spartans after dropping to Xavier on Saturday. After not incomes the doubles level, just one Mountaineer received a singles match.
Senior Michaela Kucharova beat Michigan State’s Ellie Blackford within the No. 2 seed match, 6-4, 6-1. Kucharova completed 2-0 in singles play over the weekend.
West Virginia will face VCU in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday, Feb. 1, and William and Mary on Sunday, Feb. 2, in Williamsburg, Va.
